Google Play ASO for Android apps
AppGrowly researches the searches people make on Google Play, tracks where your Android app ranks for them every day, tells you what to change in your title, short description and full description, and measures whether the change brought more installs.
Also on the other store? App Store ASO for iPhone apps — both live side by side in one workspace.
Find the searches worth winning
Real Google Play searches from autocomplete, with how often people search them and how strong the apps ranking for them are.
- Keyword research per country
- Searches your competitors rank for and you don't
- Opportunity Finder for new Android app ideas
Write a listing Google Play ranks
Google Play reads your title, short description and full description. The Growth plan and listing editor check all three as you type.
- Title (30), short description (80) and full description (4,000) limits
- Which target searches your listing covers, and where
- Keyword stuffing and Play policy checks (no “free”, “best” or “#1” in the title)
Track ranks and competitors daily
Where your app and its competitors rank on each search, with every listing change marked on the chart.
- Daily ranks in each country you sell in (Google Play shows the top 30)
- Alerts when a competitor changes its listing
- Ratings and reviews side by side
Know whether a change worked
Connect Google Play Console and every listing change gets an Impact Report measured on your real installs, not estimates.
- Installs and store listing visitors from Play Console reports
- Reply to Google Play reviews, with AI drafts and an approval queue
- Read-only access through a service account

Questions
Does AppGrowly work for Android apps?
Yes. Google Play is supported alongside the App Store: keyword research, daily rank tracking, a Growth plan, competitor tracking, review replies and Impact Reports on your Play Console installs.
Do I need to connect Google Play Console?
No. Research, ranks, competitors and the Growth plan work from public Google Play data. Connecting Play Console adds your installs to Impact Reports and lets you reply to reviews.
Can AppGrowly analyse Google Ads for my Android app?
Not yet. Google only gives approved tools access to Google Ads data, and app campaigns don't share which searches brought installs. Apple Ads analysis is available for iPhone apps.
Can I track the same app on both stores?
Yes. Add the App Store and Google Play versions of your app; each is researched and measured in its own store's terms, in one workspace.
