TEF Canada 2026 Exam Prep· CA

Your to-do list: 5 fixes, most important first · 8 of 13 checks passed

  1. Plan your switch to 2027Medium

Your name says 2026. From autumn people start searching for 2027 versions, and an app that still says 2026 in November looks like last year's.

    • → Add 2027 to your keyword field now: it doesn't show on your page, so you can rank for "2027" searches before you rename.
    • → Change 2026 to 2027 in your name by mid-November, and say what's new for 2027 in the release notes and first screenshot.
    • → Allow a few days for App Review.

  2. Show French on the App StoreMedium

Your listing is in French, but the App Store lists TEF Canada 2026 Exam Prep in English only, so people in Canada see "Languages: English" on your page and may think it isn't in their language. Apple reads the languages from the app itself, not from the listing.

    • → Flutter app: add CFBundleLocalizations to ios/Runner/Info.plist with every language the app supports (below), then ship an update.
    • → Native app: in Xcode, open the project's Info tab and add French under Localizations, with at least one localized file (a String Catalog is enough).
    • → Once the update is live, the App Store page shows the languages within a day.
    ios/Runner/Info.plist
    <key>CFBundleLocalizations</key>
    <array>
      <string>en</string>
      <string>fr</string>
    </array>

The App Store lists this iOS app in English only, but the app supports English and French. Make the app declare all of them so the App Store shows them: if it's a Flutter app, add CFBundleLocalizations (en, fr) to ios/Runner/Info.plist, and if the project has several flavors or targets with their own Info.plist, add it only to the ones that ship in these languages; if it's a native app, add the languages to the project's Localizations with a String Catalog. Don't change anything else, then tell me what you changed.

  3. Slim your app below 200 MB (it's 211 MB)Medium

At 211 MB, iPhones ask before downloading on mobile data, and many people give up.

    • → Find what's big: images, PDFs, fonts and videos bundled with the app are the usual cause.
    • → Compress images and PDFs, drop unused assets, and download large content after install (from your own server, or Apple's On-Demand Resources).
    • → Flutter: build with --split-debug-info and --obfuscate (below) so debug symbols stay out of the app.
    Flutter build
flutter build ipa --release --split-debug-info=build/debug-info --obfuscate

This iOS app is 211 MB on the App Store; above 200 MB iPhones ask before downloading it on mobile data. List the 15 largest files bundled into the app (assets, PDFs, images, fonts, frameworks) with their sizes, suggest how to shrink each one (compression, removing unused files, downloading after install), and make the safe changes: compress images losslessly and remove assets nothing references. Don't change app behaviour, then tell me the new estimated size.
  4. Check your iPhone Duo screenshotsLow

iPhone Duo is on sale now, and Apple added a screenshot size for it. From April 2027, Apple requires them for every app and game submitted, so your next update after that can't go out without them. The public App Store page doesn't show whether TEF Canada 2026 Exam Prep has them yet.

    • → Run your app in the iPhone Duo simulator in Xcode, on both the outer display and the inner (unfolded) one, and fix any screen that stretches or leaves empty bars.
    • → Take screenshots at 1398 × 2034 pixels for the outer display and 2007 × 2853 pixels for the inner one (landscape works too: 2034 × 1398 and 2853 × 2007).
    • → In App Store Connect, open your next version, choose iPhone Duo under Previews and Screenshots, upload them, and submit the version. They go live with it.
    • → Already added them? Then you're set.
    Outer display
    1398 × 2034 px
    Inner display
    2007 × 2853 px
  5. Declare your accessibility featuresLow

Your App Store page says you haven't indicated which accessibility features TEF Canada 2026 Exam Prep supports. Apple shows these labels on every app page, so people who need larger text, VoiceOver or a dark interface can see whether your app works for them.

    • → App Store Connect → your app → App Accessibility: declare what the app already supports, such as Larger Text, Dark Interface, Sufficient Contrast, Reduced Motion or VoiceOver.
    • → Only declare what works across the app's common tasks: try them with the largest text size and VoiceOver first.
Passed
  • No past year in the name or subtitle

  • A rating of 4 stars or more
  • Updated in the last year
  • iPad screenshots for an iPad app
  • Privacy policy, support and website links work
  • The privacy label matches the app's ads

Whether it's on sale in every country you care about is checked once you track the app.
